KDA (esports)
What does KDA mean in esports?
KDA stands for kills, deaths, and assists. It is used as a quick way to measure how effectively a player performed in a match or a series.
How does it work?
KDA is usually read in a simple way: the more kills and assists a player has, with fewer deaths, the better the result looks. In games such as MOBAs and shooters, this stat helps show a player’s contribution to fights, even when they are not always securing the kills themselves. Still, KDA does not show the full picture. A player can have strong numbers and still have limited impact on the map, objectives, or the overall pace of the game.
